Recently a friend was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Sometimes you just don’t know what to do to help. I kept thinking about her and wanted her to feel loved. So of course I turned to quilting! I began quilting to give gifts and to make them for my children. Giving a quilt as a gift is one of the nicests gestures of love and friendship I can think of.
To support Breast Cancer Awareness month I am offering this quilt pattern as a free PDF for the month of October. You can find the pattern in my Etsy shop after that.
Since this quilt is made up of all the same size squares you can alter it to any size!
Use your stash and all your scraps! The more variety the better!!
Thank you so much, Amanda, for this free download! Our neighbor is still struggling with the aftermath of her last breast cancer surgery. Sometimes it is so hard to know how to help. This quilt pattern is so special, and beautiful. I also see it as a sweet quilt for our hospital charity.
Beautiful pattern. I am a breast cancer survivor and am part of a fabulous group of survivors that Dragon Boat . I understand you provide this pattern free in October in the Etsy sure, however, it is coming up for a charge. How do I access the free pattern as today happens to be October 1 . Thank you so much.
