I finished the tree quilt. I love it. I used Moda Fandango charm packs for the leaves and the border. I had to draw the tree myself because I didn’t have a pattern and I am not very good at drawing – so it turned out pretty good considering I don’t have any art skills.I stippled the cream background, then did 1/2 inch straight line stitching on the border and then quilted the tree a little.
I wanted a tree quilt so I could put this vinyl saying next to it – that is where the whole idea came from. I just love it. It took me 2+ hours to cut the vinyl and hang it evenly – that is way stressful – but worth it.

Love your tree quilt. I am looking for a pattern for a wall hanging for my dining room a I have trees around my home. Is there a pattern for this? I’m new at quilting and sewing for that matter but am willing to give it a try.
